diesel performance chips have been developed for over a decade and counting. With the growing popularity of TDI (turbo direct injection) diesel engines in cars and trucks, demand for aftermarket tuning products has increased.
These products include, but are not electronic devices, I refer to as limited chip diesel performance. Companies like Bully Dog, Superchips, Edge, Diablo Sport and Hypertec, and other devices, such as manufacturingReplacement ECM (Electronic Control Module) boards, assemblies, installed in the wiring of the vehicle and also programmers and tuners plug.
The tuners or programmers are probably my favorite, with modules in second place. Tuners and programmers are pretty much the same, but different names depending on the manufacturer. I read it as a tuner for the rest of this article.
